Landmarks in Sharm El Sheikh (Peace icon)
The Peace Icon is a monument erected in the middle of the 36,000 square meter Square of Salam Square at the entrance to Sharm El Sheikh International Airport, Dahab Road and the Ring Road of Sharm El Sheikh.
The icon was designed in the form of clusters of black granite bearing lotus leaves topped with eight wings inspired by the wings of the terrestrial ball bearing ten meters.
