About Me

Hello and welcome to The Good Mother Project, your online resource site where you can go when you need support or when you feel alone.

By visiting today, you have shown a need to find someone that understands you and what you go through on a daily basis as a mum.

I want to share with you my years of knowledge in dealing with life and all of its hardships, turmoil and even the moments that are precious to us all.

This blog was created with the idea that if I could just share my passion and inspiration to make one other person’s life better, then that is exactly what I would do. Over the years, I have helped hundreds of mums to not feel alone or afraid.

This blog includes many of their real life experiences and has given mothers everywhere a voice.

Daily debates, real life topics, parenting, relationships and confessions, you will read it all here in a no holds barred type of writing that may be upsetting to some, but as mothers, we understand it.

I’ll also discuss pregnancy, mental health and physical disabilities to ensure that we, as mothers of today’s children, are well versed in whatever life holds in store for us.

By revealing the shocking truth of what it takes to be a good mother, The Good Mother Project highlights the real life problems facing today’s mothers and holds them above judgment.

We are all mums trying our hardest to do what we know is right for ourselves and our children. That’s what is important to me and to every mother in every corner of the world.

My name is Emma and I am The Real Supermum and a mother 6.

I have fought back against every problem life has ever thrown at me and prevailed.

After spending 11 years in an abusive marriage, I found the courage to take my children and leave. I was able to start my life over again and I was happy until life decided to come back for round two with me.

Bipolar disorder tried to strip me of everything I held dear and it almost did. I fought back and, once again, I prevailed.

After losing my career and my friends to a mental disorder and even my health due to an eating disorder, I made a promise to myself that I didn’t want any other woman to feel the way I did at that moment in my life.

I turned my life around and I am helping others do the same.

I want to share with you what I have learned along the way and maybe we can both make our lives and the lives of others better. After all, that’s what being a mother is all about at the end of the day.

You can get involved right now and go and comment and support others and you can share your story or experience with us.

Thank you for visiting me today and I welcome you to come back often. Your opinion matters, if you have a question or concern, feel free to contact me and I will be happy to assist you.
