Hera’s parents are Zeus and his first wife, Metis. Hera was the goddess of marriage, women, and childbirth. She was also known for her jealous and vengeful nature.

Hera is one of the most important goddesses in Greek mythology. She is the wife of Zeus and the queen of Olympus. Hera is often depicted as a beautiful woman with golden hair.

But who are Hera’s parents? Hera’s father was Cronus, the leader of the Titans. Her mother was Rhea, Cronus’ sister.

Hera was born along with her brothers and sisters: Poseidon, Hades, Demeter, and Hestia. As children, Hera and her siblings were swallowed by their father Cronus in an attempt to prevent them from overthrowing him (as he had been warned would happen). But Rhea tricked Cronus into swallowing a stone instead of baby Hera.

Later, when Zeus led his siblings in revolt against the Titans, Hera fought alongside him. After defeating the Titans, Zeus became king of Olympus and married his sister Hera. As queen of Olympus, Hera was responsible for marriage and childbirth.

She was also associated with animals such as cows and birds. In some stories, she is depicted as a vengeful goddess who punishes those who cross her or her husband Zeus.

Hera Symbol

The Greek goddess Hera was the patroness of marriage and childbirth, and her symbols reflect these aspects of her domain. The cow and the peacock were both sacred to Hera, and she was often depicted holding a bunch of grapes, which symbolized fertility.

Who is Hera’S Family?

Hera is one of the Olympian gods and her family includes some of the most famous Greek deities. Her father is Cronus, who was also known as Kronos, and her mother is Rhea. She has numerous siblings, including Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Demeter and Hestia.

Hera married Zeus and they had several children together, including Ares, Hebe and Hephaestus. Although she was married to Zeus, Hera was not always faithful to him. She had numerous affairs with other gods and mortals.

One of her most famous lovers was Hercules. Their affair resulted in the birth of two sons, Aesacus and Iphitus. Hera was known for being a jealous goddess.

She did not approve of Zeus’s many affairs and she often took out her anger on his mistresses and their children. This led to conflicts with many other deities, including Apollo, Hermes and Aphrodite.

Who is Hera Mother And Father?

Hera is one of the Olympian gods and goddesses in Greek mythology. She is the daughter of Cronus and Rhea, making her a sister of Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Demeter, and Hestia. Hera’s husband was Zeus, the king of the gods.

Together they had three children: Ares, Hebe, and Ilithyia. Hera was not always married to Zeus. In fact, she was originally married to Hephaestus, the god of fire.

However, Zeus seduced her and she ended up leaving Hephaestus for him. This caused quite a bit of tension between Hera and Aphrodite (who was also involved with Hephaestus). As a result of this love triangle, Aphrodite gave Hera a golden apple inscribed “For the most beautiful.”

This started the Judgement of Paris where Paris had to decide who was the most beautiful between Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite. Of course he chose Aphrodite which led to him being awarded Helen’s hand in marriage (who just so happened to be already married) which led to the Trojan War. So essentially all of that mess was started because Hera couldn’t keep it in her pants.

Despite all that drama though, Hera was still considered to be a symbol of marriage and fidelity (which is pretty ironic considering how unfaithful she was). She presided over weddings and protected women during childbirth. She also took care of orphans and helped young girls find husbands when they came of age.
