This could suggest that Zeus had something to do with Persephone having children on Earth too. Finally, there’s Poseidon – another possibility for being the father of Persephone’s kids given his role as her grandfather through his daughter Demeter (Persephone’s mother). In fact, one story says that it was actually Poseidon who raped Demeter which resulted in Persephone being born (although this isn’t as popularly accepted).
