You wake, or should I say are screamed at until you get your ass out of bed and after pouring a strong coffee down your throat your left facing the next daily challenge. What to wear, but what does a stay at home mom wear?
I have learned that anything white is out of the question.
I would prefer it if I could stay in my PJS and not get dressed at all, it would save on more washing and ironing and as I never get dressed without an audience it would free up at least 10 minutes for my morning routine.

Getting dressed up and applying the make-up, (OK so I get the cement mixer out to cover the black bags under my eyes) makes me feel more confident. I don’t wear make-up everyday but if I am going out anywhere or am feeling a little fed up, then I paint on my face.
When you look good you feel good and it’s true. If I am wearing matching underwear or have heels on, then I hold my head up a little further than normal.
It’s easy to let your appearance slip when you are a mom, your children take centre stage and have a wardrobe fit to burst with the latest fashion trends, your own is bare and outdated. Is it time for a new wardrobe?
Some moms don’t see the point in dressing up, not when she’s stuck at home running around after the kids and doing the housework. But if you can get the right balance, then you can do both and it will give you a lift.
What does a stay at home mom wear? She wears something that is practical, comfortable yet makes her feel a million dollars.
