As many know I run a large support group for mums on Facebook, today they made me a group pregnancy poem to share:
When I was pregnant it was plain to see,
I had a huge bump at the front of me,
It wibbled and wobbled that was my belly,
Infact you cud say it looked like jelly,
My boobs ached, my back did too,
…And thanks to constipation I couldn’t poo!!
Leaking boobs all day and night,
Milk gushing out was an awful sight,
My boobs were massive, time for a support bra,
The woman in Debenhams was quite the star!
Everything you could imagine went wrong,
But for my little boy I had to stay strong ..
When I saw you through the scan,
I had a big smile you was a lil man,
Everything swelled up, cankles an all,
It took me hours to walk round the mall,
Heartburn was a pain, gaviscon was my mate,
To drink milk by the gallon was this my fate?
My boobs were massive and so were my piles,
It’ll all be worth it when I met my child,
Mine was little and very round,
But my little man weighed 7lb,
cant wait for the day when again we meet,
Oh I cant wait to meet my feet,
I waddled and waded up the long road infront of me,
Oh wait I must stop and rest by this tree,
The plug came away, was told ‘wait another day’
Then there was a sudden gush,
I can assure there was no rush,
Then came the time to pant and push,
With legs spread wide I lost all pride,
I pushed and then there was a cry,
It was my son come to say hi!!
